CT Dentascan

dentascan dentascan

A CT DentaScan creates a comprehensive set of cross-referenced composite axial, panorex, and oblique planar reformations of the jaw bones. In addition to being used in the planning of jaw or dental surgery, a CT DentaScan also accurately measures bone loss/gain over time, provides normative data to track osteoporosis risks, and allows for patient monitoring to assess the appropriate response for therapy.

The scan takes approximately 20 minutes, producing a report for your doctor to use in making a diagnosis. Specific details of your upcoming examination will be explained fully by your patient care coordinator or CT technologist.
