I had my gall bladder removed 2 years ago, and since been suffering with chronic pancreatis. i end up in Emergency when I have my attacks. The doctor at emergency told me they will do nothing for me until my lipase count goes up to 20,000. I am frustrated since the attacks come regulary and at time I am yellow. I need pain killers daily. And the pain is contiues in my abdomon raidiates to me back. This has been gone on for 2 years now. And now it feels like I have a lump the size of a grapefuit under my right rib.
However, the test come negative I really wish someone can tell me what is wrong.

I have gone through 3 operations within one year and ended up with blood clots in my lungs shortly after the last operation in october 2010.The first operation was a gallbladder operation in 2009.The second in 2010 was a testical cancer operation.A few month later I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had it removed on october 2010.By Xmas the same year I started to get chest pains. In april 2011 I was diagnosed with blood clots in my lungs. The now have resolved but I still don’t feel any better.Extremely tired and always feeling lousy.I used to do a lot of walking thre times a week up to 8 km which never bothered me at all.
I’m desperate to have somebody find out what it is that is bothering me.I have had numerous test which all have been negative. My family doctor has pretty well given up on me.

I am wondering about the price of a full body scan. I have had many problems throughout the years with shoulder and knee injuries but never a precise diagnois and treatment/ prevention strategy. It would be so helpful to know exactly what is wrong so physiotherapists could treat the problem correctly and so that I could exersise in a manner to build and strengthen these joints. I am willing to travel and pay for a correct and complete diagnosis. Will I require a requistion from my family doctor? We discussed this yesterday and she didn’t think so but most sites I have checked indicated this was required?

I have an urgent question prior to booking a scan with you but I cannot reach anybody. I have called 4 times, held on for an extended time each time and still received no answer and had to hang up and have been trying to reach you for information for over a week. I don’t know what else to do short of coming to your facility and waiting until someone will talk to me.

Hi Andrea, I sent this comment right away to the diagnostics advisors. Usually patients are able to get through to our advisors right away, it must have just been bad timing. I hope they were able to answer your questions for you.

I worked in a sawmill for years and was subjected to loud noises. I am now hearing impaired. I am writing because I hear loud noises in my head, the noises move to various locations in my head and I frequently get sharp pains in my head when this happens. This has been going on for years. I would really like some relief from this. What type of testing can you provide to determine what is wrong and how can my problem be corrected?

Hello I have been in much pain for the last 2 years, mostly knee pain. However I now have pain in almost my whole body. My doctors here cannot make a diagnosis and am on a long waiting list for an MRI just for my knee. I would very much like to know more information on your full body scan and the cost. I live in Alberta and would also like to know the time factor for the whole procedure. I am 57 years old and had surgery a few years ago for a cyst in the rectum. Thanks, Mike.
